The Rotary Club of Lakewood meets for lunch at 12 noon every Thursday. Our calendar found on this site will tell you if we are dark that day We normally meet in the Executive Board Room in the Sycamore Centre located just south of Lakewood City Hall. The address is: 5050 Clark Avenue, Lakewood CA 90712 For someone who is coming for the first time it might be easiest to find the first stoplight north of Del Amo on Clark Ave or the first stoplight south of Candlewood. Then at the light turn east into the City Hall parking lot (turning west takes you into the mall at the Best Buy & Home Depot entrance). After you turn in, City Hall is right in front of you and Sycamore Centre is on your right. If there is no parking available in that lot you can exit back onto Clark Ave turning left. Proceed past Sycamore Centre and past the library to the first driveway on your left. Enter the parking lot and find a spot immediately behind Sycamore Centre or City Hall. You will normally see the Rotary sign outside the entrance where we meet. Between the two buildings is a covered breezeway. Go to the breezeway and turn to your right to enter the lobby of the offices of the City Council. Our staff will be there to greet you. Periodically our program for the day is larger and we need to move to a larger room. We then may have our meeting inside Sycamore Center proper. If that is the case a sign will be posted at the entrance of the board room area. Just proceed through the lobby and out the the opposite door into the front of Sycamore Centre. Signs will be posted there directing you to the right room. We look forward to meeting you. |
